Green Smoothie Bowl – Bol Smoothie Vert

Smoothies have been part of my life for several years but it’s only a short while ago that I discovered smoothie bowls. They’re so nutritious and, let’s face it, pretty, that I wonder why I didn’t think of it sooner. They’re also very trendy at the moment, which is a sign that people are caring more about what they eat.

What’s your favorite smoothie bowl combination? 

For 2 people:

Smoothie:

  • 1 1/2 cup cashew milk
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 1 tbs spirulina
  • 1 tbs agave nectar
  • ½ cup water, if required (add if the mix is too thick)

 Topping:

  • Fresh blueberries
  • Fresh raspberries
  • Granola
  • Coconut flakes
  • White chia powder

Preparation:

  1.  Put all the smoothie ingredients, except the water, in your blender and mix until you get the desired texture. If too thick, add water gradually. Transfer to a bowl.
  2. Top your smoothie with fresh blueberries, fresh raspberries, granola, coconut flakes, white chia powder… The sky is the limit!

Smoothies font partie de ma vie depuis plusieurs années, mais je n’ai que récemment découvert les bols smoothies. Ils sont si nourrissants et, soyons honnêtes, jolis que je me demande vraiment pourquoi je n’y ai pas pensé plus tôt. Ils sont aussi très à la mode ces temps-ci, signe que les gens font de plus en plus attention à leur alimentation.

Quelle est votre recette préférée de bol smoothie?

Pour 2 personnes:

Smoothie:

  • 1 1/2 tasse lait de noix de cajou
  • 1 tasse bleuets gelés
  • 2 bananes gelées
  • 1 tbs spiruline
  • 1 tbs nectar d’agave
  • ½ tasse eau, au besoin (seulement ajouter si le mélange est trop épais)

Garniture:

  • Bleuets frais
  • Frambroises fraîches
  • Céréales granola
  • Flocons de noix de coco
  • Poudre de chia blanc

Préparation:

  1. Mettre tous les ingrédients du smoothie, sauf l’eau, dans votre mélangeur et mélanger jusqu’à l’obtention de la texture désirée. Si trop épais, ajouter l’eau graduellement. Transférer dans un bol.
  2. Garnir avec les bleuets frais, frambroises fraîches, cereals granola, flacons de noix de coco, poudre de chia blanc… Le ciel est à la limite!

  1. How is it possible that I have never made a smoothie bowl?? This is so pretty! I love the spirulina lending it the gorgeous colour and it’s topped with some of my favourite things. I can’t wait to try this =)
