These days, with how hectic my life is, I aim to make quick and easy but nutritious meals. These wraps are rich in proteins, vitamins and will provide your tasting buds with an explosion of flavor.

For 4 wraps:

  • 1 can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
  • 1 tbs olive oil
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp chipotle
  • ½ tsp sriracha
  • 2 avocados, cubed
  • Juice 1/2 lime
  • 2 handfuls spinach, shredded with your fingers
  • Vegenaise, to taste (optional)
  • 4 wraps
  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Drain the chickpeas and put in a large bowl. Add the olive oil, cumin and chipotle. Stir the chickpeas well to coat before spreading them onto a large baking tray. Roast until they start to crisp (approximately 20 minutes). Remove from the oven and transfer back to the bowl.
  3. Add the rest of the ingredients, except the vegenaise, to the bowl and mix well.
  4. Coat your wrap with vegenaise (optional) or any sauce of your choice and fill with the chickpea mix.


Ces temps-ci, avec mes horaires trépidants, j’essaie de ne préparer que des repas rapides et simples, mais également nutritifs. Ces “wraps” sont riches en protéines, vitamines et plairont à vos papilles gustatives avec leur explosion de saveurs!

Pour 4 wraps: 

  • 1 boîte de pois chiches, rincés et égouttés
  • 1 tbs huile d’olive
  • 1 tsp cumin en poudre
  • 1 tsp chipotle en poudre
  • ½ tsp sriracha
  • 2 avocats, coupés en cubes
  • Jus 1/2 lime
  • 2 poignées épinards, déchiquetés avec les doigts
  • Vegenaise, au goût (optionel)
  • 4 wraps
  1. Préchauffer le four à 400 degrés F.
  2. Égoutter les pois chiches et mettre dans un grand bol. Ajouter l’huile d’olive, le cumin et le chipotle. Bien mélanger afin que les pois chiches soient bien recouverts avant de transférer sur une grande casserole. Rôtir jusqu’à ce qu’ils soient croustillants (environ 20 minutes). Retirer du four et remettre dans le grand bol.
  3. Ajouter le reste des ingrédients au bol, sauf la végénaise, et bien mélanger.
  4. Beurrer les wraps de végénaise (ou autre sauce au choix) et garnir du mélange de pois chiches.

  2. Sounds like a great wrap! I haven’t tried roasted chickpeas yet and have been meaning too. I like the idea of the soft wrap with the crunchy chickpeas – a fantastic texture clash =)
    ps. I adore the french word “pois-chiches” and secretly wish English speakers would adopt this teehee


    • That made me chuckle! Pois chiches is such a normal term for me that I don’t see the appeal but we can practice together in the Fall! 😉

      As for roasted chickpea, they’re so good! I intend to do that more often!
